This year we’ll be expanding our garden to produce more food for the pantry! Join us Saturday, April 27 at 8am to clean, clear, dig, and prep the ground for planting — we have tools available, we just need helpers to use them. The garden is located outside our office at the corner of Devereaux & Marsden Streets

Need to update your CPR Certification? We have 8 slots available for our next CPR training on May 18.

Cost: $50 for Red Cross certification, or $10 to audit the class without certification
Ramp F Cleanup
Join us May 25 at 9am as we clean up the shoulders and green space surrounding Ramp F on Aramingo Ave.
This is a large space with lots of trash, so grab a friend or two and come ready to work hard as we beautify our neighborhood together! As this intersection is very busy, we recommend not bringing small children to this event.

Community Easter Egg Hunt
You’re invited to join our Community Easter Egg Hunt. Our goal is to provide a safe & fun family environment to build community and raise awareness about Bless Philadelphia.
The egg hunt will be for kids 8 years old & younger, but bring the whole family to hang out and have fun together!

Group Volunteer at Small Things Philly
Join the Bless Philadelphia team as we partner with Small Things Philly to sort and pack boxes of food and organize pallets for distribution!
Small Things works with local partners and community leaders to alleviate poverty by improving food security and collaborating to address other community needs.
Easter Meal Collection
We’ll be collecting traditional Easter meal items to include with our Easter boxes which will be distributed on March 23.
If you know a family that would benefit from an Easter meal box, please let us know!

Angel Tree Christmas Toy Drive
This year we’re partnering with Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program to collect toys to bless families in our community.
We will begin collecting toys at our partner church locations November 26 through December 15

Thanksgiving Food Distribution
Stop by True Vine at 4pm on the Thursday BEFORE Thanksgiving (11/16) to pick up a free box with poultry and the fixings. First come, first served!

Join us in the backyard at Mercy Gate Church for a free community cookout!
This event is free for all ages. Our desire is to build and strengthen relationships with our neighbors as we promote the peace, prosperity, health and safety of everyone in our community!
If you’re able to bring something, you can bring a side, soft drink or dessert, but if not, please come anyway and hang out.
Philabundance Community Kitchen
Are you interested in receiving culinary training through the Philabundance Community Kitchen?
Class #92 of PCK begins on May 8!
PCK is a 16-week culinary vocational training program which has been transforming the lives of women and men with low-to-no income since 2000. Students in the 560-hour program will:
•Earn their ServSafe certificate They are given the opportunity to test for the certificate
•Receive training and intern in the culinary industry
•Prepare meals for those in need
•Receive services for a minimum of two years to ensure that graduates maximize their employment opportunities and continue to build positive work behavior post-graduation.
